E3 is nearly upon us. The event every gamer looks forward to annually will be arriving June 11-13. EA has once again secured their usual time and place on the day before the event, June 10, starting at 1 pm, thanks to this source here at mynintendonews.

While I don’t have the greatest admiration for EA and their money-hungry way of doing things, I can’t help but think about what we may see and hear from their press conference. It’s only been days now since their announcement of The Sims 4. They have also announced that they’ve bought the rights to Star Wars games. Now I know it’s much too early for them to be able to show anything of the Star Wars variety, but they’d be fools not to take this opportunity to talk about what they intend to do with their newly acquired rights. However, we may get to see some Sims 4 footage, though, their main focus will more than likely revolve around Battlefield 4.

Microsoft has also announced a press conference for the day before the big show. Perhaps to get an early lead on Sony. They will, more than likely, show off more features of their Xbox 3, or 720, or whatever they decide to name it. I am excited to see what else Microsoft has to unveil. Maybe Halo 5, or a new Fable. One that lives up to it’s promises. The game I’m most looking forward to seeing at E3 is Watch Dogs. It looks like one of those games that is either going to set the new standard for open-world espionage titles, or be a huge let down for the many anticipating gamers. Either way, this E3 will without a doubt be one of the most exciting Electronic Entertainment Expo’s we’ve had in years.
